Nothing is Beautiful

Staring at reflections of the me that lives inside,
a me that lives in shadows and a me I`ve tried to hide,
I strip away the layers that have clouded whats within,
the falsities and dogma, the guilt and shame and sin,
within us all it lingers, hidden from the world,
a creature that lies sleeping, waiting to be unfurled,
it slumbers there in silence, surrounded by the noise,
of daily life and living, the troubles and the joys.

and if you go there searching, for the beast that lives asleep,
beware of what you`ll find there, in that place so dark and deep,
beneath the you you`ve learned to be, beneath what you call “me”,
a place thats full of demons, a place you dread to see,

In this dark place you`ll find it, the dark beast innermost,
to each and every one of us, unwittingly its host,
but stop right now and listen, to the wisdom of the fiend,
he lives within you daily, no harm to you he means,

for he is you and you are he, there is no need to fear,
looking at reflections, everything becomes so clear,
this place within is empty, the space is there to fill,
You`ll see that you are nothing, and nothing is beautiful.
