Interest in Paganism/Witchcraft: Urk! Been Pagan all my life though raised in a Christian household. Declared myself Pagan when I was 15, about which time Pomona declared “about bloody time too!” and then the studying started in earnest!! Follow the Religio Romana, though not to the letter (too many festas etc which, though great fun, would be totally impractical!) and honour the aforementioned Pomona, Minerva and Herne. Just to show that I can be eclectic. Plus a few other deities (but all Roman oddly). Main interests are mythology, local folklore, history, medical herbalism, plants of any kind, and witchcraft. Been doing this long enough now to have done a fair bit of sorting out wheat from chaff, so can see through claims of astonishing powers, ancient matriarchal societies and unbroken lineages going back to the year dot. Find the concept of “Trad Craft” thought-provoking and at times so obvious as to make me wonder what the fuss is about. Find the endless in-fighting between the various “my Art(e) is better than your's” unbelievably tedious and pretentious.
