Age: Um..er..middle fifties assuming I can count properly. :)

Lives: In land which has a long history of being claimed by both Wales and England. Henry VIII finally settled the matter and so it's south Herefordshire. It's a place redolent of Tolkien's 'Shires': a sort of lost valley surrounded by hills. After growing up in London and wandering all over England for years, I find this land entrancing and full of presence. We specialise in small towns, cider and the countryside. Of an evening I can step outside my front door, look at the velvet indigo of the night sky with its stars, and hear nothing more than the occasional car on its way into town. Wonderful. Other than that I live where my gods do, or other wights.

Interest in Paganism/Witchcraft: Snatched from paganism nearly 40 years ago by other religions and left wandering around elsewhere until 1999. Still, it was instructive. Tried Wicca but it didn't suit me. Settled happily in Heathenry, though some of the gods who come visiting don't take much notice of that. :D I work magic from time to time, though it tends to be too time consuming to do on a regular basis. And never by anyone else's 'book'. I only discovered a few years ago that my great grandmother was the local 'cunning woman' for where she lived. Wished I'd had the chance to meet her - she could have taught me a lot. If she'd been so inclined, of course. ;)
